Samsung, after the release of full of bugs and confusing Galaxy Tab S6 last year, was trying really hard to give their users the best user experience with their upcoming tablet, as their market competitor Apple is more popular and trusted for their tablets. Samsung, after the development process of one year, released two new tablets in market this year on August 22 and named them Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus.
Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is the best tablet from Samsung till date as well as the best android based tablet.

Apple announced release of all new and unique iPad Air 4 in their “Time Flies” event and in upcoming week it will be in market. Apple used their latest chip and they’re claiming it to be their most powerful tablet with 30% increased performance.
Both are best in their own line up, now we will have a comparative look on specs, features and pricing to decide which one is a better choice?
Design and Feel:
It seems like Samsung worked hard on design. Proof is that Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is having a very thin sleek body. All aluminum finish is the best approach to give users the luxurious feel. Like their smartphones, Samsung integrated in-screen fingerprint scanner in Galaxy S7 Plus. Samsung used 4 speakers in newly released tablet to give users a better audio experience while surfing YouTube or listening to music. Average front camera is smartly placed on the longer edge of tablet for better user experience. On the back there are dual cameras with nice LED flash.
Most noticeable hardware feature is keyboard case by Samsung which is allowing the tablet to be used like laptop and we think that it’s plus point.
On the other hand, Apple’s iPad Air 4 is ‘light-as-air’. This premium tablet is offering all screen display with flat edge body to users. Apple’s iPad Air 4 is the first tablet of its line up with a fingerprint sensor built into a button on the side, otherwise fingerprint sensors are built into the home button on the front. Apple is not using quad speaker feature like Samsung but iPad Air 4 has built in stereo speaker to ensure quality sound. Unlike S7 Plus, iPad Air 4 is having single camera at back.
Apple iPad Air 4 is adaptable to work with Magic Keyboard and the second-generation Apple Pencil, which magnetically attaches to the top of the tablet.
Display:
GalaxyS7 Plus is offering really nice, bright and vibrant, 12.4-inch OLED pixel-dense display. 120 Hz refresh rate is making S7 Plus’s interaction smooth as butter. 2800×1752 resolution with aspect ratio 16:10 is making it unique.
On the other hand, Apple maintaining its legacy is offering Liquid Retina display with 1640 x 2360 resolutions. With 10.9-inches display, Apple is lagging here.
Camera:
If you’re making choice on the basis of cameras, then surely S7 Plus is for you. It is offering dual cameras with 13MP and 5MP sensors. 5MP sensor is equipped with wide angle settings allowing you to capture more. Whereas Apple is equipped with a single 12MP rear camera, which is also not a bad choice but S7 Plus‘s LED is making it clear because we are not witnessing any night mode or LED flash in iPad Air 4.
Specifications:
As an android developer, Samsung decided to stick by android and used Android 10 Operating System along with Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865+ Chipset which is ensuring the high performance of tablet. They also introduced 5G connectivity in this model but it is optional.
Apple used their all new A14 Bionic chipset in iPad Air 4 which is expected to make it the fastest tablet till date. This chipset is going to be used for the first time so we can only wait to check this. Due to A14 Bionic Chip, users will have a good experience of editing 4K videos and CPU performance will boost by 40% and graphics will also be improved by 30%. Operating System is off course Apple’s very own iPadOS.
Battery:
S7 Plus comes with 10,090mAh battery which lasts 14 hours on video playback. Apple has not mentioned anything about battery of iPad Air 4 but that it lasts 10 hours and when used with cellular data, battery life is decreased to 9 hours.
Pricing:
Moving towards the pricing, the 11-inch Tab S7 is starting at $649.99 and Galaxy Tab S7 is available for $849.99.
Apple’s iPad Air 4 is available for $599 in first month, and we can expect it to be on sale in next month. LTE model will cost $729 which is still affordable as compared to S7 Plus.
Samsung’s S Pen is included for free whereas Apple pencil costs $99.
Which One is better?
Though Samsung has improved a lot from their past tablet Series, and S7 Plus is their best tablet but we personally recommend you to go for iPad Air 4. One of the major reasons is that Samsung is still under the process to produce best tablets and for Apple, they launched their first iPad 10 years ago and have improved a lot which makes them a better choice over Samsung. Another reason is that Apple iPad Air 4 is offering more than S7 Plus in affordable price, but yeah if you’re an android user who thinks Apple’s software complicated, you can go for S7 Plus. S7 Plus is not a bad choice at all; its hardware and eye pleasing display can be your reasons to buy it.
